C.Y. Lee & Partners is an architectural partnership initiated by architects C.Y. Lee and C.P. Wang in 1978. With V.T. Wu as the firm’s general manager, C.Y. Lee & Partners currently has approximately 200 employees on its payroll. Emphasizing oriental culture, and the incorporation of ecological concepts and modern technology, the firm offers architectural design services that are highly creative, integrative and technical in order to deliver outstanding living environments. Insisting on “human-centered” spirit to ensure mutual growth with all staff, C.Y. Lee & Partners aspires to become a leading international team that facilitates development of modern oriental architectures.
In the past thirty years, C.Y. Oneness & Associates Architects / Planners
Established in 2003 as a partnership, Oneness & Associates was jointly initiated by architects C.L. Chen and W.H. Huang. The firm currently has approximately 30 employees on its payroll and specializes in urban planning and construction supervision. The operation scope of Oneness & Associates covers China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. The firm is driven by its vision to integrate elements of “humanity, ecology and technology” to create innovative architectures befitting of the 21st century.
Philosophy.
The city is the highest form of manifestation and quintessence of civilization. Urban competitiveness is a general concept; it is not only determined by a city’s economic strength but also by its cultural prowess. In competitive thinking of the 21st century, cultural competitiveness is gaining increasing influence and impact on urban development. In the urban development concept of the 20th century, we were accustomed to various western planning concepts as the rule of thumb. But the 21st century has brought an ecological and financial crisis to mankind, and the quest for new values and new guiding thoughts has become one of the most pressing tasks in contemporary urban development. We believe in the transition from western adversities to oriental wisdom – in the depths of Chinese culture lies the concepts Three Teachings and philosophies that encompass visions of sustainable ecology, lifestyle of symbiosis with the planet and spatial views that emphasize harmonious coexistence with other species. Initiated in 1986, Lee Design Incorporated is currently headed by chairman of the board Chongping-Wang. The firm has completed several hundred projects that cover financial institutions, commercial offices, shopping malls, residential projects, hotels, recreational facilities and so forth and has accumulated profound experience over the years.
Lee Design Incorporated was established to accommodate the demands of overall space design from the two architectural firms in order to satisfy the needs of interior space design from the developers.
